The course helps workers identify common risks in general industry settings and explains how to control those hazards. It is ideal for entry-level employees who want to build awareness of their role in maintaining a safe work environment.

All construction workers must complete the OSHA 10-Hour course within 15 days of hire.
Workers who fail to complete the required training within 15 days may be suspended or terminated. Employers who do not comply may face administrative fines of up to $500 for the first offense and $1,000 for subsequent violations.
While the OSHA 10 card does not expire, the state of Nevada requires renewal every five years. To renew, workers must either retake the OSHA 10-Hour safety training or complete an approved continuing education program.
