Construction sites can be dangerous, and every worker must be prepared to face these dangers. The NYC SST 10-Hour Training helps reduce the risk of accidents by covering necessary safety topics, particularly in fall prevention and maintaining a drug- and alcohol-free workplace. This training teaches workers how to manage potential hazards and create a safer work environment.
Failing to complete the required training can lead to penalties for both workers and employers. Without an SST card, workers are not permitted to enter on NYC construction job sites.
