What Is OSHA Certification? How to Get OSHA Certified?

Many workers, employers, and job postings use the term “OSHA Certification” when referring to OSHA 10 Hour or OSHA 30 Hour training.

Important: OSHA does not certify workers through these courses. OSHA Outreach training provides safety awareness education, and students receive a certificate of completion and an official OSHA DOL card, but the term “OSHA Certified” is not official. • A completion certificate becomes available right away
• An OSHA DOL card is mailed to the worker’s address
